he asked where i wanted to eat and i just… froze

i've spent so long being the 'easy to be around' girl, the one who's fine with whatever, that when he actually asked me where i wanted to go i genuinely blanked. not because i didn't care — because i'd trained myself not to want things out loud. so i went home and made a dumb little list. i like window seats. i like being asked twice. it felt so silly and then it felt like the bravest thing i'd done all year. no neat ending here, i'm just practicing wanting things 🤍
