i found my old list and cried a little

last spring i wrote down everything i wanted to FEEL by the end of the year and shoved it in a drawer like it was embarrassing to want stuff out loud lol. calmer mornings. a body i wasn't at war with. one friendship that felt like home. clothes that looked like me and not an apology. found the list again this week and… most of it quietly came true?? not in a dramatic movie way, just a hundred tiny ordinary choices — the walk instead of the scroll, keeping the dress that made me stand taller, texting first. the weird part: almost none of it was about becoming someone new. it was just coming back to me. if you're writing your own list tonight, put the small things on it too 🤍 those are the ones that actually show up.
